A photo series exploiting and discussing our imperfections and insecurities.

We all have that one thing we don't like about ourselves. That slight imperfection or feature we are self-conscious about and would like to change. For some people it's something physical, like their acne or the shape of their nose, whilst for other people it is more of a feeling or something behavioural. Nonetheless, what usually happens is that we try to hide these things, cover them up, deny them. We know that these things are a part of who we are but what we forget is that they don't have to define us.

I started this project to help people. Help people see these imperfections and insecurities in a different perspective, help them see how society plays a huge part in why we feel that certain features are less beautiful and maybe even help them find the path that eventually leads to acceptance.
